Dear user, This Help page has been created to assist you in using the Makassed Forum. The forum is divided into categories, subjects, and topics. Please note that in the Makassed Forum, you can do the following:  Post new
topics Reply to
topics Delete your
posts Edit your
posts Create polls
Vote in

| Click on “active topics” to be able to view all active topics which generated replies, or select the “show topics” button to choose topics posted within a determinated period of time, by consulting the drop down list which will be displayed. | |

|
|
| Go to the “forum
jump” drop down list to select a new forum. To post a new topic, click on “new topic” and fill in the required form. To post a new poll, click on “new poll” and fill in the required form. |

|
|
|
| If you encounter problems with your post,
click on “report post” button. Fill in the form and state the issue
with the post; a copy of the post will be emailed to the forum moderators
and/or forum administrators so they can deal with it appropriately. To post a reply, click on “post reply” button, and type your message in the indicated field. |

|
|
|
|
|
| The “topic starter” indicates the user who first posted a certain topic. Check the “replies” and “views” to know how many replies a topic attracted and how many users just entered to view it. | |

|
|
|
|
| The “last post”
section indicates the date of the last reply that was posted online. To know more about the administrator/user who posted this last reply, click on “admin”/”user”. Note: To view the administrator/user profiles you must be a registered user. |

| To register, click on “Register”
at the top of the page. A Forum Rules and Policies text will be displayed.
Read carefully and click on “cancel”
if you do not wish to register. If you however choose to register, click on “Accept”, and fill in the online form which will be displayed. Once done, click on “Register” at the bottom of the page. If you are a registered user, then click on the “login” button and enter your username name and password previously chosen, each time you visit the Makassed Forum. |

| A searchable database has been created, in
order for you to find members, topics, forums,... Enter a specific
letter in the search box, then click “search”
to find whatever you are searching for. Use the “Search” button on top of the page to search for forum topics. Follow these simple instructions to find what you are searching for: 1- Type the desired word/phrase in the related field. 2- Narrow your search by choosing a category from the “search in” drop down list: topic subject; message body; or username. 3- You can then choose to search all forums, or you can select a title from the drop down list available under “search forum”. 4- To sort results, choose a category from the available drop down list: last post time; topic start date; subjects listed in alphabetical order; number of views. To start a new search, click on “Reset Form” |

| Click the “watch
this forum for new posts” link, and you will be notified by
e-mail of all posts in the selected forum. To un-watch these posts, click on the “Un-watch this forum for new posts” link. |
